Tuesday night the wind was really blowing and the boat was bobbing around pretty good. At about 4am I was awoke by a combination of the boat moving about and the sound of the wind howling.<\/p>\n<p>I got up and had a look around to make sure we were not blowing away or getting blown into our nieghbors boats or that they were not blowing into us. I also wanted to know just how hard the wind was blowing, so I turned on the instruments and checked the wind gauge. It was blowing a steady 20-25knots and gusting to 42knots, which is almost 50mph!!!<\/p>\n<p>Wednesday night was pretty calm, but this is supposed to be the calm before the storm. Tonight (thursday) it is supposed to blow and storm even harder.<\/p>\n<p>I better recheck the dock lines and make sure everything that is&#8217;nt tied down gets tied down.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We have had some crazy weather around here these last couple months.
