I use FireFox for my browser and everything looked great there. But Tawn told me that the site was all goofed up when she went to it using Internet Explorer.
I’ll get things fixed up so it looks good for all. Or everyone could just use Firefox…. :)

Since the main purpose of this site is to let our friends and family know what we are up to on our boat/home. I think it would be a good idea to let you know just exactly where the boat is most of the time.
We keep the boat in Shilshole Marina on K dock, this will be changing soon as the marina is undergoing a huge renovation. We will be moving sometime in october to a new dock but in the same marina.
Just where the hell is Shilshole Marina you maybe asking yourself? I’ll assume you know where Seattle is. So from there I will show you two images.
The first is an overview of Seattle and where Shilshole Marina is located in town:
Ok, now you know where we are in Seattle, sorta. :)
Now i’ll show you a close up of the marina:
Hopefully overtime, i’ll come up with some better ways of showing you guys stuff. :)
So, there you have it. You know have a pretty solid Idea of just were we live and keep our boat. I’ll post some more info on this stuff later.

The plan was to get up early and sail to Port Ludlow on Sunday morning.
The reality was we got up not so early and realized that the tide would be against us going north and there was no wind at all. So we decided instead to sail south around Bainbridge island and anchor out in Manzanita Bay. We got as far as Eagle Harbor and the wind completely died. So we turned on the motor and continued around. The wind finally picked up again just as we got even with Brownsville Marina on the west side of the island.
It only held out for about an hour and died again, we changed our minds on anchoring in Manzanita Bay and decided instead to go to Poulsbo and anchor out in Liberty Bay. Once there and anchored we saw some friends of ours (Billy & Trish) were anchored out there as well on their boat, so we dinghied over and had a drink with them.
Here is a rough map of our route:
The black line is Sundays route south. The Red line is Monday return trip home.
On Monday, we had a very lazy day of just laying around the boat and reading. Decided to head back to Shilshole around 2pm. Once we got under the bridge, through Agate Passage and out into Port Madison the wind really picked up. We ran into Dan on his boat Blue Monkey II, and we “raced” back to Shilshole in 18 knots of wind on a beam reach. Great sail!!
Here is proof:
This is what I think of Dan on Blue Monkey IIL
I’m messing about with differnt themes and looks for this site. I’m just trying to get a look that fits. If your checking in on the site and things are changing you now know why.
