Ok, now we are even. (CB)

Tawn, my buddy Dan and I were up at Stevens Pass ski resort on Super bowl Sunday and Monday. The video below was taken on Monday February 4th.

And just to be clear, I am not posting this video to display my incredible snowboarding skills, or Tawn’s talent for filming (and defenitly not for her color commentary). The main reason is to level the playing field. A couple weeks ago, I posted a video of Tawn, in which she wipes out. I may or may not have also aluded to her sobriety at the time, I don’t honestly recall right now.

In the following video you will see me wipe out at the end of it. While I was definetly sober, if you look closely right before I wipe out, you can see a small woodland creature scurry across my path. I had to resort to desperate measures to ensure the little guy escaped unharmed. I am nothing if not a friend of all creatures, both great and small. Enjoy the video:

So long E-40…Hello J-49!! (CB)

We moved! From start to finish, it took us less than 15 minutes.  :)

Granted, we did’nt move far, but it is one of the beautys of living on a boat.  We moved from E dock, down to J dock. Total distance about 300 yards. But unlike moving from one apartment/house to another, there was no boxing of stuff. No unboxing of stuff. It was a simple matter of starting up the engine, unplugging the shorepower cord and untieing 4 lines. Then moving the boat down to J dock, slip #49. Oh and grabbing all the tools and stuff out of the dock box, piling it in the dinghy and moving that down to the new dock. So maybe it took 45 minutes, but who is counting.

Tawn is gonna kick my ass for doing this. (CB)

I took another quick video of Tawn Snowboarding yesterday. And while I still have not been able to get the brightness settings right. I wanted to post it because Tawn wipes out at the end of it and I caught it on film. :)

This was taken on a run called The Bomber Cliffs at Mission Ridge:

This next picture showes the reason why I think she wiped out:

Stupid things me and Tawn do to make each other laugh

I’m gonna let you in on a little secret. Me and Tawn both have a pretty healthy, albeit sophmoric senses of humor. One of the running gags we have is to buy odd things we see at stores that we know would crack the other one up. Then bring it home and act like it’s a special gift for the other. No flowers or cards on this boat.

It all started a couple years ago with this product. I saw it on some website and just had to buy it. I have absolutly no use for it, but damn, it cracks us up:

Bag Seasoner

Over the years there have been a number of products. A small jar of Vegimite (I think we still have that nasty little thing somewhere), stinky cheeses, insanely hot bottles of hot sauce with funny ass names, and a 2 gallon jug of yellow mustard, just to name a few.

But then a couple months ago Tawn brings this home:

CB's Nuts

I’m tellin ya, there is nothing funnier than offering your friends a big handfull of nuts, when they have your name on it….Or is that just me?

Then just the other night she brings this home. What the hell could this actually be? We are both afraid to open it. No way it could be edible. It sounds British for some reason. Not sure why:

Spotted What??

WTF??? Look at those nasty little black spots? I can’t quite figure this thing out. On the plus side, it is microwavable.

Oh and P.S. Never eat frozen peas at Scotty and Angie’s. :)
